Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport is dedicated to ensuring accessibility for all. Through our services and ongoing efforts, we are currently working toward Level 1 Accreditation through ACI World’s Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation (AEA) program.

Air Carrier Access Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in air travel.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking lots and garages dedicated for people who have mobility restrictions.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible men’s, women’s, and family restrooms featuring changing tables in every restroom, along with syringe disposal.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available through the terminal, at main lobby and food vendors.

Automatic Doors

Leahy BTV has automatic doors that allow for ease of access.

Airport Ambassadors

Leahy BTV Ambassadors are here to help all passengers and can be found throughout the terminal.

Elevators

Our building has accessible elevators on all levels as well as our parking garage.

Ground Transportation

Leahy BTV is served by Taxi vans, Uber, Lyft, and Public Transportation bus.

Sunflower Lanyards

Leahy BTV is proud to be part of the Sunflower Program. Sunflower lanyards are available for those passengers who have hidden disabilities.

Therapy Dogs

Our volunteers walk the concourses with therapy dogs to ease stress and anxiety for passengers.

Service Animals

Security Screening

Wheelchairs

Curb Cuts

Leahy BTV parking area and entrances feature curb cuts.

Nursing Pods

We have Mamava nursing pods that offer a quiet and private space, found in both the North and South terminals.
